We are delighted to share news of our new venture, Pierce’s Meat Market, your new downtown butcher shop and general store. This establishment will offer a variety of provisions including local meats, breads, candies, home made casseroles, spices, cheeses, wines and much more. Located at 119 Laurens St NW in the old Proper Plate building.

In light of this development, Sunday, June 1st, will be the final day of operation for The Proper Plate. While our year operating this downtown restaurant has been rewarding, we have made the difficult decision to pursue a different direction that we believe is in the best interest of our family owned business.

In the interim, we invite you to visit our Feed Sack locations. We also look forward to welcoming you to new Langley Tavern in Warrenville in the near future.
